About the Comic Strip

Lola Lollipop is a comic strip about a precocious and sarcastic little girl focused on healthy eating, healthy living, and ice cream. Perpetually obsessed with discovering new ways to be healthier, she habitually fails at persuading her mom, dad, and older brother to join her efforts.

Alas, Lola often feels alone but strangely determined in her epic quest to discover the healthiest and most ethical way to eat and live.

About the Author

Lara Matthews is the creator of the Lola Lollipop comic strip and the author of Lola Lollipop: Animals Are Evil. She is a graphic designer and personal trainer living in Chicago with zero pets and a plethora of stuffed animals. Lara is a regular contributor to This Dish Is Veg as well as several other newsletters and publications. She has always been able to speak backwards and she has always been eating food.
